New DCC, Jackie Roberts. Dyfed-Powys Police Authority and Force have announced the appointment of Ms Jackie Roberts as their new Deputy Chief Constable. Ms Roberts will replace Mr Andy Edwards, who has been appointed as the first Deputy Chief Constable for the all Wales collaboration. Ms Roberts began her career in South Wales Police before moving to Avon and Somerset Constabulary, where she is an Assistant Chief Constable. Mrs Delyth Humfryes, Chair of the Police Authority said, "I am thrilled that Ms Roberts will shortly by joining us. She has a wealth of experience and will be an asset to the Chief Officer team."
